People Partner

KEY POINTS WE FOUND
  • Partner with executive and senior leaders to support workforce planning.
  • Manage employee relations matters and provide leadership coaching.
  • Contribute to greenfield projects on reward, performance, and diversity.

THE ORGANISATION
Our client is a fast-growing national organisation of more than 500 employees, operating across multiple sites. Engagement is strong and the culture is visibly positive. Many of the people frameworks behind that culture are still being built, which creates real scope to make an impact. They are looking for a driven People Partner to join their team to support with their growth.

THE ROLE
Reporting to the People & Culture leader, you will partner with an aligned portfolio of executive and senior leaders. You will work alongside an experienced Senior People Partner. Workforce planning will be a near-daily focus. You will scope new roles, ask the right questions and test that each request makes commercial sense before it goes for approval. You will manage employee relations matters, including performance, conduct and disciplinary issues. You will also use each matter as a leadership coaching opportunity for the manager involved. Alongside the day to day, you will contribute to greenfield projects covering reward and benefits, the EVP, a new approach to performance and feedback, and diversity, equity and inclusion.

The role is based in the Sydney CBD on a hybrid pattern of 3 days in the office, with time at a second Sydney site as required.

THE CRITERIA
To be successful in this role, you will bring previous HR business partnering experience and the presence to hold your own in executive-level conversations.
You will be confident in employee relations and see grievances, performance and conduct matters as business as usual. You will bring a workforce planning mindset that looks ahead at structure and capability, not just the immediate vacancy. You will have a genuine passion for leadership coaching and prefer to help leaders grow rather than fix their problems for them. You are curious, commercial and comfortable with ambiguity. Where no process exists, you lean in, get it done, and then help build a better one. You enjoy being visible on site and building relationships face to face.

WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU
This role puts you in the room with senior leaders from day one, with real influence over workforce planning and leadership coaching across a growing business. You will join a supportive, high-performing team. You will have the chance to put your own stamp on greenfield people projects, all with hybrid flexibility.

At Peoplecorp, we are dedicated to promoting diversity and inclusion in every recruitment process.
