Randstad HR Partners is seeking a progressive and dedicated National Employee Relations (ER) and Industrial Relations (IR) Lead for a leading global multinational blue-collar organisation. This critical role within the People, Safety and Environment unit will drive national ER/IR activities, ensuring consistency and best practice across the business. The role is based in the inner city suburb of Sydney but it is a national, multisite role and there’s expectations for regular interstate travel. This role offers a hybrid/flexible work arrangement.

Key Responsibilities:
- Expert Advice: Provide expert, day-to-day ER/IR advice to key stakeholders, including Line Managers, HR Managers, and HR Business Partners.
- Negotiation & Disputes: Advise on, participate in, or lead enterprise agreement negotiations and dispute settlement processes.
- Claim Management: Manage end-to-end claim processes (Fair Work, AHRC), including drafting submissions and providing advocacy in workplace tribunals.
- Investigations: Oversee and advise on all workplace investigations, ensuring due process and compliance.
- Compliance & Strategy: Monitor IR compliance programs and provide written advice on industrial relations strategy, ensuring adherence to regulatory and Fair Work Commission requirements.
- Stakeholder Relations: Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal teams, external employer associations, government bodies, regulators, and union representatives.
- Development: Deliver educational and development activities for Managers and HR teams on ER/IR matters.
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
- Tertiary qualification in HR/IR or equivalent industry experience in a similar role.
- Demonstrated high-level experience as an ER/IR practitioner in a large, complex organisation.
- Extensive experience in employee relations and industrial relations.
