KEY POINTS WE FOUND
  • Join a major Australian professional services group for a Workday transformation.
  • Work across HR, business stakeholders, and technology to shape future-state processes.
  • Translate business requirements into practical Workday solutions.

About the job

A major Australian professional services group is undertaking a significant Workday transformation and is looking for an experienced HR Business Analyst to join the team on a long-term contract.

This is a genuine business transformation BA role, working across HR, business stakeholders and technology to help shape future-state processes and translate business requirements into practical Workday solutions.

About the role

You'll work across a significant HCM transformation, partnering with HR SMEs, business stakeholders, technology teams and the implementation partner.

You'll be involved in:

  • Mapping current and future-state HR processes
  • Facilitating workshops and gathering business requirements
  • Translating business needs into functional requirements and user stories
  • Supporting Workday business process and solution design
  • Working with SMEs and technology teams to resolve requirements and design decisions
  • Supporting test scenario and script development
  • Supporting UAT and business acceptance activities
  • Contributing to data migration, reconciliation and integration activities
  • Supporting cutover and implementation activities
  • Working across multiple stakeholders and business entities throughout the transformation

About you

We're looking for an experienced Business Analyst with strong HR / HCM / HRIS transformation experience.

Ideally, you'll have:

  • Strong BA experience within HR, HCM or HRIS transformation
  • Hands-on experience working with Workday, ideally within a transformation or implementation program
  • Experience mapping and redesigning HR processes
  • Strong requirements elicitation and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience working with HR SMEs, CoEs and technology teams
  • Experience across UAT, testing and implementation
  • Exposure to data migration and/or integrations
  • Experience working on complex transformation programs
  • Strong understanding of how HR business requirements translate into HR technology solutions
  • Experience with other major HCM platforms such as SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM or UKG will also be considered, particularly where you have strong HR transformation experience and can demonstrate transferable skills.

This is a long-term opportunity to join a major Workday transformation program and play a key role in shaping future-state HR processes.

It's ideal for someone who enjoys being the bridge between HR, the business and technology and wants to work on a large-scale transformation rather than a traditional HR operations role.
