    About the Role

    We are seeking an energetic Recruitment Consultant to join a busy administrative team in Sydney on a contract basis. This role suits a proactive communicator who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys matching talent to opportunity. You will work closely with hiring managers and candidates across a variety of sectors to deliver a high-quality recruitment service that supports business objectives.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Manage end-to-end recruitment processes for temporary and permanent positions, from role briefing to offer negotiation and onboarding.
    • Source and screen candidates using job boards, databases, social media, and direct outreach, ensuring a strong pipeline for active roles.
    • Build and maintain relationships with hiring managers to understand role requirements and provide market insights and candidate recommendations.
    • Coordinate interviews, provide timely feedback, and ensure candidates receive a professional and positive experience throughout the process.
    • Maintain accurate candidate and client records in the applicant tracking system and produce regular recruitment reports as required.
    • Support the team with ad hoc administration, candidate referencing checks, and compliance documentation to ensure quality and accuracy.

    Who You Are

    • Australian citizen or permanent resident eligible to work in Australia without sponsorship.
    • Previous experience as a recruitment consultant, resourcer, or similar role within an agency or in-house recruitment team.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a consultative approach when engaging stakeholders and candidates.
    • Organised, deadline-driven, and comfortable managing multiple roles simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
    • Proficient with recruitment platforms, candidate tracking systems, and Microsoft Office suite.
