About the Role
We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Restaurant Manager to join our hospitality team in Munno Para, South Australia. This is an excellent long-term opportunity for a dedicated professional with strong leadership, operational management, and customer service skills within a fast-paced restaurant environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer experiences, efficient team performance, and compliance with all food safety and workplace standards.
Key Responsibilities
The Restaurant Manager will be responsible for:
- Managing daily restaurant operations to ensure smooth front-of-house and back-of-house service delivery
- Preparing staff rosters, allocating duties, and monitoring labour costs to maintain operational efficiency
- Recruiting, training, supervising, and motivating staff to achieve high service standards and team performance
- Monitoring restaurant performance, preparing sales and operational reports, and supporting business growth objectives
- Managing stock control, inventory systems, supplier coordination, and purchasing procedures to minimise wastage and maintain adequate stock levels
- Handling customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction
- Ensuring compliance with food safety regulations, hygiene standards, liquor licensing requirements, and workplace health and safety policies
- Supervising opening and closing procedures, POS operations, cash handling, banking, and end-of-day reconciliations
- Supporting the development of a positive workplace culture focused on teamwork, productivity, and staff development
- Maintaining high operational standards and contributing to the ongoing success of the business
- Working knowledge of OH&S/WH&S
- A current RSA Certificate
Skills and Experience Required
To be considered for this role, applicants should possess:
- Minimum 3 years of relevant full-time experience in a Restaurant Manager or similar hospitality management role
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Sound understanding of restaurant operations, staff management, and food safety compliance
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
