Our client is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to join their organisation on a full-time basis, based in Salter Point. This role is ideal for a senior HR professional who is confident working across aged care, retirement living, or the not-for-profit sector, and who can lead workforce governance, compliance, and HR strategy for a large and diverse team.
With responsibility for HR operations across more than 300 staff, this position plays a key role in building a skilled, safe, and engaged workforce while ensuring the organisation meets all legislative, accreditation, and governance requirements.
What you’ll be doing:
- Leading HR strategy, workforce planning, and end-to-end HR operations
- Managing recruitment, onboarding, mandatory training, and staff development with existing Team
- Overseeing performance management, employee relations, and conflict resolution
- Ensuring full compliance with the Fair Work Act, Aged Care legislation, WHS, and quality standards
- Managing enterprise agreements, award interpretation, and salary packaging requirements
- Implementing and maintaining modern HR systems, maintain existing rostering platforms, and workforce compliance records
- Supporting organisational change, workforce transitions, and audit compliance readiness
- Reporting workforce metrics and HR compliance to senior leadership and the Board
What you’ll need:
- Minimum 5 years’ senior HR management experience, ideally in aged care, retirement living, or not-for-profit environments
- Strong understanding of Aged Care Quality Standards, compliance, and workforce governance
- Proven experience managing enterprise agreements, awards, and industrial relations
- Knowledge of PBI structures, salary packaging, and not-for-profit governance
- Experience leading organisational change and implementing HR systems
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related field (AHRI membership desirable)
