Position Description
- Take responsibility for a designated section during service
- Prepare and deliver high-quality dishes consistently
- Complete daily preparation and mise en place to service requirements
- Work efficiently during busy lunch, dinner, and peak service periods
- Support senior chefs with menu execution and daily kitchen operations
- Assist with stock rotation, ordering, and kitchen organisation
- Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen cleanliness
- Work collaboratively with the wider kitchen team to ensure smooth service
Position Requirements
- Previous experience as a Chef de Partie in a busy pub, hotel, bistro, or similar environment
- Strong understanding of commercial kitchen operations and service flow
- Confident working across high-volume service periods
- Solid preparation and section management skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality
- Ability to work effectively as part of a close-knit kitchen team
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Trade qualification in Commercial Cookery
- Flexibility to work across a rotating roster, including evenings and weekends
