About the role
The Project Officer, Languages works across the department and with external partners to promote the value of language learning at system and site levels, with a focus on improving the learner experience for engagement and retention in language curriculum pathways.
The Project Officer collaborates on initiatives that support delivery of improved and sustainable language programs in schools, facilitating practice networks and professional learning to activate the new SA Curriculum for public schools.
The Project Officer leads data innovation and management in building system connection and cohesion for Languages education, supporting schools to make informed strategic decisions that align to the purpose and strategy for public education.
Qualifications
Essential: Current Full Teacher Registration
Desirable: NIL
Special conditions
The successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to being employed which is required to be renewed every five years before expiry.
The incumbent will be required to undertake RRHAN –EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online (Fundamentals) course which will be required to be updated every three years.

Remuneration
STL3 $152,287 per annum (1.0 FTE) + superannuation (12%)
