The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Auditor / Assistant Managers to join a high-performing audit team. In this role, you will take ownership of a diverse portfolio of clients across a range of industries, delivering quality audit and assurance services while mentoring junior team members and contributing to the continued growth of the practice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage end-to-end external audit engagements for a varied client portfolio
  • Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with Australian Accounting Standards
  • Identify audit risks and develop tailored audit strategies
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a key point of contact
  • Supervise, coach, and mentor junior and graduate auditors
  • Liaise with managers and partners on engagement progress, findings, and reporting
  • Ensure compliance with relevant auditing standards (ASAs) and regulatory requirements
  • Contribute to process improvement and quality control initiatives

About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

  • 3–5+ years of external audit experience, ideally within a professional services environment
  • CA or CPA qualified (or near completion)
  • Strong technical knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple engagements and meet deadlines
  • Experience supervising junior staff
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A proactive, client-focused mindset and strong attention to detail
