Your new company
An established and highly regarded plumbing company is seeking a friendly and organised Receptionist to become the first point of contact for clients, suppliers and visitors. Based on the Eastern Shore, this part-time position offers stable hours 3 days a week within a supportive team environment where customer service, professionalism and teamwork are highly valued.
Your new role
As the Receptionist, you will play an important role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the office. You will provide exceptional customer service while supporting the administration team across a range of tasks.
Key responsibilities include:
Greeting clients, suppliers and visitors professionally
Answering and directing incoming phone calls
Managing the company email inbox and forwarding enquiries
Processing incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries
Maintaining a tidy and welcoming reception area
Data entry, filing and document management
Processing customer payments and issuing receipts
Providing general administrative support across the business
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
Previous reception, administration or customer service experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
A professional and friendly phone manner
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
Sound Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel and Outlook Experience using Simpro is highly regarded
The ability to multitask and manage competing priorities
A positive attitude and willingness to support the wider team
Experience within a trade, construction or service-based business will be highly regarded but is not essential.
