An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Program Support Officer to join a high-performing Major Projects Planning team based in Brisbane CBD.Your new role
Reporting to the Manager Major Projects Planning (Transport Assets and Operations), you will provide high-level administrative and program support to ensure the smooth operation of the team. This is a varied and fast-paced role that will see you coordinating executive support activities, managing schedules, and assisting with governance and document management functions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing the Manager's calendar and coordinating appointments and meetings
- Providing executive administrative support to senior leadership
- Coordinating tasks, actions and follow-up activities across the team
- Organising and facilitating meetings, including agenda preparation and scheduling
- Supporting governance processes and maintaining accurate records
- Managing and maintaining electronic documents and filing systems
- Liaising with internal stakeholders to ensure deadlines and priorities are met
- Providing general administrative and operational support to the Major Projects Planning team
What you'll need to succeed
- Previous experience providing executive or senior administrative support
- Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience coordinating meetings, calendars and stakeholder engagement activities
- Strong attention to detail and document management capabilities
- Proficiency across Microsoft Office applications, particularly Outlook, Word and Excel
- The ability to work independently while supporting a collaborative team environment
- A background within government, infrastructure, transport, engineering or project environments will be highly regarded but is not essential.
