Human Resources Generalist

Fantastic opportunity for an HR Generalist who enjoys variety in their day and the chance to work across a group of companies with a diverse range of services and product offerings.

This is a newly created role where you’ll have the opportunity to apply your knowledge and play a pivotal part in bringing HR functions in-house.

Reporting to the Director, your responsibilities will include:

• Creating employment contracts and managing employee inductions/onboarding
• Updating, developing, and implementing HR policies to meet business needs
• Assisting with legal compliance across HR functions and identifying areas of risk
• Driving performance appraisal reviews and supporting managers and employees as required
• Managing employee relations, both individual and collective
• Overseeing performance management plans for underperforming staff
• Assisting with recruitment, onboarding, offboarding, and staff engagement to ensure a smooth employee experience
• Participating in broader HR projects such as engagement surveys, system rollouts, process improvements, and incident/accident records
• Managing workers’ compensation claims and return-to-work programs
• Producing employee, headcount, absenteeism, and productivity reports
• Updating organisational structures
• Undertaking other administrative duties as required by management
