Our client is an Australian coal producer operating a portfolio of open-cut and underground mines, supplying high-quality thermal and metallurgical coal to domestic and international markets.

About the Position

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Administrator to provide administrative support across HR, Recruitment, and Mobilisation functions. This role will involve a variety of general administration tasks, ensuring compliance requirements are met while supporting the efficient onboarding and mobilisation of personnel. No prior HR administration experience is required, making this an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build their career in human resources or recruitment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to HR, Recruitment, and Mobilisation teams
  • Assist with onboarding and mobilisation documentation
  • Maintain accurate employee and compliance records
  • Perform data entry and document management tasks
  •   Support recruitment and personnel administration activities
  • Coordinate and track compliance requirements
  • Respond to internal enquiries and support team operations
  • Complete general office administration duties as required

Skills and Experience Required

  • Previous administration experience
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work with urgency and manage competing priorities
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Proactive and positive attitude
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in HR administration (advantageous)
  • Understanding of mining compliance requirements (beneficial but not essential)
  • Strong computer and data entry skills
