Healthcare Business Manager - Nattional
- Responsible for growing the business across aged care, community care, NDIS providers and healthcare distributors.
- Develop and deliver a national channel strategy and 90-day growth plan.
- Manage relationships with key healthcare distribution partners and run clinical education and product training.
Our client is a respected Australian-owned manufacturer of quality healthcare and consumer products, with brands trusted by aged care providers, healthcare professionals and households across Australia. With strong growth plans in the healthcare sector, they’re looking for a commercially driven Healthcare Business Manager to take ownership of the channel nationally.
About the role:
Reporting to the Director of Sales, you’ll be responsible for growing the business across aged care, community care, NDIS providers and healthcare distributors. It’s a hands-on, national role with real autonomy and the chance to shape strategy from day one.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and delivering a 90-day growth plan, followed by a longer-term national channel strategy
- Strengthening and growing relationships with key healthcare distribution partners
- Identifying and securing new distribution and direct opportunities, including aged care groups at procurement level
- Running clinical education and product training for continence nurses, care staff and allied health professionals
- Managing pricing, tenders and preferred supplier arrangements
- Tracking performance and reporting to leadership
- Longer term, supporting the build-out of a state-based sales team
- Regular interstate travel is required.
About you
You’re a relationship-driven healthcare sales professional who enjoys building something, not just maintaining it. You’ll bring:
- Proven experience selling into aged care, community care or healthcare through distributors, wholesalers or direct to groups
- A track record of growing a territory, channel or key accounts, with results to show for it
- Experience working at procurement level, including tenders and preferred supplier arrangements
- Confidence delivering education and training to clinicians and care staff
- An understanding of aged care, Home Care Package or NDIS funding pathways (highly regarded)
- Experience in continence, wound care, medical consumables or equipment (highly regarded)
- A strategic mindset, with the energy to execute on the road
