The Opportunity
This newly created position offers the chance to provide high-level support to a highly experienced and respected Executive Director.
The core focus of the role will be governance and Board support, alongside policy and organisational development.
The position is permanent, with flexibility to work part-time (3 or 4 days per week but a total of 24 hours).
You’ll join a small, close-knit team with a can-do culture, working collaboratively across the organisation.
The Role
As an Executive Support Officer, your responsibilities will include:
- Providing ‘light touch’ executive support to the Executive Director
- Coordinating the preparation of organisational reports, including the Annual Report and other strategic planning documents.
- Maintaining governance documentation, policies and frameworks, and support governance reviews
- Providing strategic and executive support to the Executive Director, including research, Board papers, reports and briefings
- Coordinating organisational reporting, including annual reports, business plans and funding submissions
- Building and managing relationships with the Board, staff, sponsors, alumni and partner organisations
- Overseeing day-to-day office operations, meeting logistics and general administrative support
The Ideal Person
You will be experienced in corporate administration and executive support, confident in liaising with senior stakeholders.
You have worked across secretariat, Board support, and have a high degree of professional polish.
You write clearly and confidently, preparing briefing papers, reports, presentations, speeches, and other executive documentation with precision.
Known for being highly organised and discreet, you handle sensitive information with sound judgement.
You bring a can-do attitude, an ability to work proactively and with sound judgement and minimal direction.
Salary / Rate
- $85k – $90k + 15.4% Super + Salary sacrifice package
- Part-time role (24 hours per week), which can be worked across 3 or 4 days in the office
