For Executive Director, Director of Human Resources to provide strategic direction for a prominent educational institution. A Permanent Full Time role within a reputable Catholic college.

  • Requires: Significant experience in leading employee and workplace services.
  • Salary guide: $160,000 - $180,000 per annum plus superannuation.
  • Location: Brisbane.

Your normal day will involve:

  • Providing strategic direction for human resources in alignment with the college's strategic plan.
  • Directing and managing extensive HR operations for approximately 495 staff.
  • Overseeing recruitment, professional reviews, performance management, compliance, and policy implementation.
  • Managing industrial relations and resolving employee disputes and grievances.
  • Supporting the development and professional learning of staff to enhance workplace relations.

You will need:

  • Demonstrated ability to support and develop staff through regular monitoring, professional learning, and effective employee relations practices.
  • Significant experience in leading the delivery of high-quality employee and workplace services and systems to a broad range of staff and leaders, including policy implementation and review, recruitment, and employee relations.
  • Industrial Relations Expertise: Proven experience in handling industrial relations matters, employee disputes, grievances, claims, and tribunal proceedings.
  • A blue card for working with children.
