Our client is a long-established irrigation and water management specialist with more than 30 years' operating history and a national branch network. The business delivers integrated design, product supply, installation, service and maintenance solutions across commercial, civil, government and infrastructure markets. Their Darwin branch is recognised as the region's market leader, delivering complex irrigation and water infrastructure projects for a diverse customer base including sporting facilities, defence, airports, universities, commercial developments and local government.

About the role
This senior branch leadership role is responsible for leading commercial performance, customer satisfaction, operational reliability and people leadership across a team of approximately 20 employees. Working with an established leadership team, the successful candidate will oversee service, projects, sales, retail and operations while ensuring the branch continues to deliver high-quality irrigation and water-management solutions across Northern Australia.

Duties

  • Lead branch performance across revenue, profitability and cost control
  • Support managers across service, sales, projects and operations
  • Develop long-term relationships with commercial, civil, government and infrastructure customers
  • Oversee project delivery, inventory management and operational performance
  • Manage escalated customer, supplier and employee matters

Skills & Experience

  • Senior leadership experience within irrigation, civil construction, infrastructure, landscaping, utilities or capital equipment
  • Demonstrated commercial and financial management capability, including P&L ownership
  • Experience leading multidisciplinary teams across operations, projects, service and sales
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
  • Unrestricted Australian driver's licence and full Australian working rights
