Job Description

About the Role

We are partnering with an established, high-impact Not-for-Profit Corporation based in the Perth CBD to recruit a dedicated HR Business Partner.

Working as a core member of a supportive People & Culture team, you will act as a trusted operational partner to department heads, managers, and clinical supervisors across key health and community service portfolios. This is a hands-on generalist position that combines everyday advisory with broader workforce capability initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Employee & Industrial Relations: Manage end-to-end ER/IR matters, including workplace investigations, performance management, grievances, and modern award/EBA interpretation.
  • Leadership Partnering & Coaching: Work closely with operational leaders to coach them through complex staff matters, team capability, and effective communication.
  • Workforce Planning & Talent Support: Collaborate with department managers to identify resourcing requirements, address capability gaps, and support talent retention strategies.
  • HR Projects & Policy: Contribute to P&C framework improvements, policy reviews, HRIS enhancements, and organizational development projects.

Key Requirements

  • Experience: Demonstrated track record operating in an HR Business Partner or Senior HR Advisory capacity.
  • ER/IR Technical Depth: Strong, practical understanding of Australian employment law, complex ER case management, and award interpretation.
  • Sector Background: Prior experience within Not-for-Profit, Healthcare, Disability, Aged Care, or Community Services (Aboriginal Community-Controlled Organisation experience is highly regarded).
  • Communication: Exceptional stakeholder management skills with a culturally informed, collaborative approach to problem-solving.
  • Qualifications: Tertiary qualifications in Human Resource Management, Industrial Relations, Business, or a related discipline.
