Job Description

  • End-to-end processing of weekly, fortnightly, or monthly payrolls
  • Ensuring payroll accuracy and compliance with relevant legislation, awards, and enterprise agreements
  • Managing superannuation, payroll tax, workers compensation, and statutory reporting obligations
  • Processing new starters, terminations, leave calculations, and payroll adjustments
  • Resolving payroll-related queries in a timely and professional manner
  • Maintaining employee records and ensuring data integrity within payroll systems
  • Assisting with payroll reconciliations and month-end activities
  • Supporting audits and compliance requirements
  • Identifying and implementing process improvement initiatives
  • Providing support and guidance to junior payroll team members where required

The Successful Applicant

  • Strong end-to-end payroll processing experience within a medium to large-scale organisation
  • Sound knowledge of Australian payroll legislation, awards, and compliance requirements
  • Experience using payroll systems
  • High attention to detail and exceptional accuracy
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • A proactive and solutions-focused mindset
