About the Opportunity
We're recruiting on behalf of a growing non-bank lender seeking an ambitious, results-driven Business Development Manager to join their Sydney team. This is a great opportunity for an experienced BDM to build relationships, generate new business, and help drive the continued growth of a reputable lender in the mortgage broking space.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, pursue, and convert new business opportunities within the broker channel
- Build and maintain strong relationships with mortgage brokers, aggregators, and industry partners
- Develop and execute strategic business development plans to meet growth targets
- Represent the business at industry events and broker meetings
- Prepare and deliver compelling proposals and presentations
- Maintain accurate records of sales activity via CRM
- Stay across market trends, competitor activity, and lending regulations
About You
- Previous experience as a Mortgage BDM is essential
- Strong existing network of brokers and industry contacts
- Solid understanding of lending, mortgage products, and the broker channel
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- A self-starter with a hunter mentality and a track record of hitting targets
- Relevant qualifications in business or finance (desirable, not essential)
- Current driver's licence and willingness to travel for client meetings
