Your new company
An established organisation operating within the utilities and infrastructure sector is seeking an experienced Procurement Business Partner to join its Finance and Business Services function in Darwin.

Your new role
Working closely with internal stakeholders, you will provide commercial procurement advice and support across the full procurement lifecycle, helping deliver compliant, commercially sound and value-for-money outcomes.The role
You will be responsible for:

• Providing commercial and strategic procurement advice to stakeholders
• Supporting complex sourcing and market approach activities
• Developing procurement strategies, supply arrangements and negotiation plans
• Supporting supplier selection and commercial negotiations
• Managing relationships with vendors, service providers and internal stakeholders
• Identifying procurement risks and opportunities for improvement
• Supporting procurement governance, compliance, reporting and policy development

What you'll need to succeed

• Strong commercial awareness and analytical capability
• Experience across procurement, sourcing and contracting activities
• A sound understanding of the end-to-end procurement lifecycle
• Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills
• Experience identifying and implementing procurement and process improvements
• Excellent communication, planning and problem-solving skills
• Exposure to utilities, construction, goods, professional or technical services will be highly regarded
• CIPS qualifications or equivalent are desirable, but not essential
