About the company/role:
Our client is a food ingredient manufacturer supplying B2B. They are seeking an experienced senior level quality candidate to step into a Quality Manager role for a 3-month period. This is a full-time, day shift role based in Western Sydney. The role will have 3 direct reports and will report directly to the Site Leader.
Duties:
- Manage site operations and provide daily support from a quality perspective
- Lead customer complaint management and implement corrective actions
- Provide leadership and direction to the quality team members
- Oversee daily QMS activities – compliance with standards and polices
- Manage quality administrative duties related to reporting, auditing, documentation
Skills/experience:
- Previous experience working in a senior level quality role in the food industry
- Tertiary qualifications in food science or a related discipline
- Previous people management experience is highly advantageous
- Excellent communication skills
- Proven self-starter who enjoys a hands-on role
