We are looking for a Resourcing Specialist to join a national provider of healthcare, disability support, aged care, and community services.

  • 3-month contract, with potential extension 
  • 100% office-based
  • Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:30pm

About the role:

You will be responsible for the end-to-end recruitment and onboarding of field staff across key portfolios. This position will particularly focus on high-volume recruitment of Registered Nurses (RNs), Enrolled Nurses (ENs), Assistants in Nursing (AINs) & Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) within Hospitals.
This role ensures all mandatory compliance and documentation requirements are met and maintained in both hard and electronic formats, supporting the effective delivery of services across the organisation.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the recruitment process of healthcare workers, including conducting interviews, reference checks, and ensuring the completion and filing of all mandatory documentation.
  • Actively participate in the facilitation of assessment centre for Trust and/or Foundation candidate screening.
  • Undertake induction activities to effectively onboard new support workers.
  • Complete associated administrative tasks, including maintaining support worker files, ensuring documentation and mandatory training are current, and notifying staff of upcoming expiry dates.
  • Liaise with the relevant rostering team to support the allocation of newly onboarded support workers to client services.
  • Respond to enquiries via the dedicated HR telephone line.
  • Proactively build talent pipelines through database searches, networking, and engagement with training providers, RTOs, and community networks including career expos and events.
  • Provide recruitment to other states to cover leave, busy periods and absences
  • Ensure all recruitment activities comply with relevant legislation, industrial instruments, and company policies, including child safety, NDIS Worker Screening, and disability/aged care standards.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement activities aligned with organisational priorities.
  • Provide after-hours assistance as required.
  • Any other responsibilities in line with the level of this position as instructed by management 

Key Position Competencies, Skills, and Knowledge

  • Proven experience in end-to-end recruitment and onboarding processes, within the health or community services sector 
  • Strong understanding of compliance requirements and workforce documentation management.
  • Knowledge of relevant industrial instruments, awards, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with strong ability to liaise effectively across different stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Outlook, Excel, SharePoint, and Teams.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy in administrative tasks.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • A collaborative and adaptable approach, with a commitment to continuous improvement.
