Are you the person who keeps everything organised, remembers the little details and loves helping a team run smoothly? Do you enjoy working with people, getting things done and learning new skills?

Our employer partner is a growing occupational rehabilitation company that helps injured workers recover and return to work. Behind every successful team is great administration, and we’re looking for a motivated, organised and reliable trainee to help keep everything running smoothly at their Rhodes office.

This is a fantastic opportunity to earn while you learn, gain a nationally recognised qualification and develop valuable business and administration skills in a professional, supportive workplace.

Why choose this traineeship?

  • Earn while you learn – work towards a nationally recognised Certificate III in Business.
  • Gain real-world experience – develop practical administration, communication and business skills.
  • Build your career – establish a strong foundation for future opportunities in administration, office coordination and business support.
  • Join a growing company – learn from an experienced team and develop your skills in a professional environment.
  • Make a difference – support a team that helps people recover from injury and return to work.

What will you be doing?

You’ll learn how to keep a busy office organised while supporting a team that makes a real difference in people’s lives.

Your day-to-day on-the-job learning will include:

  • Office administration: Help manage daily office tasks, schedules, meeting rooms and correspondence.
  • Customer service: Be a friendly and professional first point of contact for colleagues, visitors and other stakeholders.
  • Data entry and records: Maintain accurate client records and learn how to use business systems.
  • Bookings and coordination: Assist with appointment scheduling, follow-up communication and general coordination.
  • Processing referrals: Learn how new client referrals are received, checked and processed accurately.
  • Team support: Follow up on outstanding tasks, help meet deadlines and make sure nothing slips through the cracks.
  • Business systems: Develop your skills using Microsoft Office and other workplace software.
  • Continuous improvement: Share ideas and learn better ways to keep administrative processes running efficiently.

What are we looking for?

We’re looking for someone who takes pride in doing things properly and genuinely enjoys being organised.

You could be a recent school leaver looking to start your career, or someone ready for a fresh start in business administration.

You’ll ideally be someone who:

  • Is organised, reliable and has a strong eye for detail.
  • Enjoys administration, planning and keeping things in order.
  • Communicates clearly and professionally, both face-to-face and over the phone.
  • Has a positive, can-do attitude and is happy to help wherever needed.
  • Is comfortable using computers and keen to learn new systems.
  • Can manage tasks, follow instructions and see things through to completion.
  • Understands the importance of confidentiality and treating people with respect.
  • Is keen to learn, take responsibility and develop professionally.

Most importantly, we’re looking for the right attitude, a willingness to learn and someone who takes pride in their work.

Location and working arrangements

  • Location: Rhodes, NSW
  • Employment: Full-time, Monday to Friday
  • Qualification: Certificate III in Business

Please note: There is no on-site parking available, so you’ll need to be able to commute to the Rhodes office using public transport.
