Resthaven Murray Bridge Residential Services are looking for a Coordinator of Hospitality Services to fill a Full-time role.

As a Coordinator of Hospitality Services with Resthaven, you will join a friendly, approachable team of positive people as you coordinate the hospitality services of older people in Resthaven’s Murray Bridge residential aged care home.

You will enjoy the mutual support and friendship of your team members and the dedicated hospitality staff you provide leadership to.

About the opportunity:

Reporting to the Site Manager, you are responsible for ensuring a quality hospitality service is provided to residents by developing and monitoring work practice standards that focus on quality outcomes and continuous improvement including:

  • Ensuring the provision of quality hospitality service meals to residents, maintaining compliance with food safety standards
  • Participating in the development of your sites budget requests and monitoring expenditure, with effective and efficient use of resource
  • Coordinating provision of cleaning services and maintenance in accordance with required standard
  • Coordination of housekeeping staff and duties
  • Ensuring current knowledge of legislation, work practice and contemporary hospitality practices
  • Full Time role

About you:

  • Experience in hospitality services coordination (aged care experience preferred)
  • Proven ability to coordinate and lead diverse teams
  • Solid knowledge of food safety legislation and compliance
  • Strong leadership experience with excellent people skills
  • Experience in stock control and ordering processes
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure while managing competing demands
  • Previous housekeeping management experience in aged care or hospitality (preferred but not essential)
