Salary: $85,000–$95,000 per annum plus superannuation

Ulan Road Farm Pty Ltd is seeking a Cook to join the kitchen team at Blue Wren Farm.

Based among the vineyards of the Mudgee region, Blue Wren Farm offers a varied kitchen environment covering restaurant dining, weddings and events.

Key duties

• Prepare and cook meals to a consistently high standard.
• Assist with food preparation, portioning and presentation.
• Work with fresh, seasonal ingredients.
• Maintain food safety, hygiene and cleanliness standards.
• Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering.
• Minimise food waste and maintain kitchen efficiency.
• Work closely with the kitchen team during busy services and events.

To be successful, you will have

• A Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or an equivalent qualification.
• Previous experience as a Cook in a commercial kitchen.
• Good knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques.
• An understanding of food safety and hygiene requirements.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
