We are currently partnering with a well-established organisation within the building and construction sector to appoint an experienced Commercial Builder Unlimited to support the delivery of training and assessment programs.This opportunity is ideally suited to a senior commercial builder seeking to transition from site-based work into a structured training environment, while continuing to apply their extensive industry knowledge across complex construction projects.
About The RoleIn this position, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the next generation of commercial construction professionals by delivering and assessing nationally recognised qualifications.Operating within a structured training environment, you will draw on your real-world experience across complex commercial projects to bridge the gap between theoretical and practical application. You will guide learners through all stages of the construction life cycle, from planning and compliance through to project delivery and site management.
Key responsibilities include: Deliver and assess accredited building and construction training
Support learners across commercial construction pathways, including complex and large scale builds
Provide practical insight into project management, compliance, safety and site operations
Contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of training materials and delivery methods
Maintain industry currency and ensure training aligns with current building regulations and standards
About YouTo be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:Mandatory Current Commercial Builder Unlimited registration
MandatoryCertificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122) OR a Cert III in Building and Construction may be considered.
Extensive experience across commercial construction projects, including large scale or multi-storey developments
Strong understanding of building codes, regulations and compliance frameworks
A genuine passion for mentoring, coaching and developing others
Strong communication skills and the ability to translate technical knowledge into practical learning outcomes
