Job Description
As a Bartender, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional beverage service while creating genuine connections with our guests. You will prepare and serve a range of beverages, maintain a polished and welcoming bar environment, and contribute to a seamless guest experience across the venue.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys engaging with people, takes pride in their craft, and thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve beer, wine, spirits, cocktails and non-alcoholic beverages to a high standard
- Deliver warm, professional and personalised service to guests
- Create memorable interactions through your product knowledge and hospitality expertise
- Recommend beverages and maximise guest experiences through thoughtful upselling
- Maintain presentation and cleanliness standards across all bar areas
- Support restaurant, event and function service as required
- Assist with stock control, stocktakes and inventory management
- Process guest transactions accurately through POS systems
- Uphold Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) requirements at all times
- Contribute to a culture of excellence by supporting Elysium's service standards and rituals
Qualifications
- Previous bartending experience in a restaurant, hotel, resort or premium hospitality venue
- Strong knowledge of cocktails, wine, beer and beverage service
- A current RSA Certificate
- Excellent communication and guest engagement skills
- Strong personal presentation and attention to detail
- Experience using POS systems and handling cash transactions
- A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
- Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays
