About the Role
Join a major infrastructure uplift program and take ownership of building, validating and migrating enterprise Windows Server and Hyper‑V hosting platforms. You’ll work hands‑on across clustered hosting, workload mobility, platform hardening and controlled migration waves.
What You’ll Do
- Build and configure enterprise Hyper‑V and Windows Server platforms
- Stand up clusters, shared storage, host networking and management connectivity
- Execute migration runbooks, cutover plans and rollback procedures
- Validate workload functionality, storage access, backup readiness and monitoring coverage
- Support pilot and production migration waves and post‑migration stabilisation
- Prepare operational documentation, runbooks and handover material
Key Focus Areas
- Hyper‑V hosting, clustering and high availability
- Windows Server engineering, AD integration and privileged access
- VMware‑to‑Hyper‑V workload migration
- Enterprise compute, storage, SAN and data centre readiness
- Secure environment separation and platform hardening
What You Bring
- Strong hands‑on Hyper‑V and Windows Server engineering experience
- Proven delivery of complex infrastructure migration projects
- Experience with enterprise storage, SAN, Fibre Channel and host networking
- Ability to produce high‑quality build artefacts, runbooks and test plans
- Clear communication with technical and non‑technical stakeholders
