- Drive health, safety and wellbeing initiatives across multiple project sites.

90-120k + Vehicle + Super | On site 6:30am to 4:00pm

As the organisation continues to grow, an opportunity has become available for a Work Health & Safety Manager to join the team and play a key role in shaping and strengthening their safety culture.This is a hands-on position suited to someone who enjoys being out in the workforce, building relationships, coaching leaders and influencing positive behaviours. While compliance and systems are important, this role is ultimately about people.
The OpportunityReporting directly to senior leadership, you will be responsible for driving health, safety and wellbeing initiatives across multiple active project sites while ensuring compliance with legislative and industry requirements.
This is a highly visible role where you'll spend the majority of your time on-site supporting operational teams, identifying opportunities for improvement, and helping create an environment where safety is part of everyday decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and promote a positive workplace health and safety culture.
- Conduct site visits, audits, inspections and risk assessments.
- Develop, review and maintain WHS policies, procedures and systems.
- Support compliance with relevant WHS legislation and ISO standards.
- Investigate incidents, hazards and near misses and implement corrective actions.
- Deliver safety training, toolbox talks and coaching to leaders and employees.
- Build strong relationships across site and management teams.
- Provide practical safety advice that supports operational outcomes.
- Monitor safety performance and identify trends and improvement opportunities.
- Champion wellbeing initiatives and proactive risk management.

You'll bring:
- Qualifications in Work Health & Safety or a related discipline.
- Understanding of Australian WHS legislation and compliance requirements.
- Exposure to ISO management systems, ideally ISO 45001.
- Experience within construction, civil, infrastructure, engineering or a related industry.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- The ability to influence, coach and build trust with people at all levels.
- A practical and solutions-focused approach.
- A genuine passion for keeping people safe.
