Warehouse / Storeperson – CJD Trucks – Forrestfield, WA
CJD Trucks are currently seeking an experienced Warehouse / Storeperson to join our highly motivated Forrestfield Branch! This is a great opportunity to join a market-leading national business who will support you to develop and grow your skills and build a career in warehousing.
This hands-on role incorporates all facets of warehousing, including both the physical and administrative aspects of receiving, picking and dispatching items as required.
Other duties include:
- Pick and pack customer orders for pickup, delivery or dispatch
- Organise dispatch for both local and interstate freight
- Receiving incoming freight including stock orders, and receipting into inventory system
- Putting away incoming stock and assigning to pending customer orders
- Liaising with multiple courier companies and adhering to courier pick up deadlines
- Maintaining a clean and functional warehouse
Requirements for the role:
- A strong commitment to health and safety, with a positive attitude and drive to succeed
- Working knowledge of all the functions within a warehouse environment – receiving, dispatch, supplier returns, and stock takes
- Experience working in a spare parts role within a fast-paced, hands-on environment
- Have excellent organisational skills and a high attention to detail
- Self-motivated with the ability to work in a close-knit team
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in the use of computer programs (outlook, excel, word)
- A current Driver’s Licence and Forklift Licence
- Ability to complete a pre-employment medical
