Part-Time or Full Time Veterinarian

We’re looking for veterinarian to join our friendly and supportive team.

Since 1995, Wellpets has provided professional, compassionate veterinary care. True to our name, we focus on maintaining our patients’ wellness as well as treating illness. As an independent practice, we offer honest, tailored advice and work closely with a trusted network of specialists when needed.

What You’ll Be Doing Day to Day

As a Small Animal Veterinarian, no two days will look the same. You’ll enjoy a varied and rewarding caseload, including:

  • Consulting with clients and providing high-quality care for their pets
  • Performing routine and complex surgeries, from desexing to soft tissue procedures
  • Using advanced diagnostic tools such as digital radiography, ultrasound, and in-house lab equipment
  • Delivering preventive health care, including vaccinations, parasite control, and wellness checks
  • Educating and supporting pet owners, building strong and trusted relationships
  • Collaborating with a skilled nursing team and experienced colleagues
  • Responding to emergencies with confidence and care when they arise
  • Maintaining accurate clinical records for seamless continuity of care

This is a role where you’ll be supported to grow your skills, share ideas, and make a real difference in the lives of pets and their families.

About You

  • A qualified veterinarian registered (or eligible) in QLD
  • 2+ years’ experience in small animal practice
  • Confident in handling both routine and complex cases
  • Driven to lead, grow, and mentor a team while delivering excellent patient care
  • A strong communicator who builds meaningful client relationships
