About the Role
Smith & Co Recruitment is seeking experienced 4WD Suspension Fitters to join a leading Australian manufacturer of premium 4WD suspension systems, accessories and performance components.
Based in Burpengary/Caboolture, this hands-on workshop opportunity involves fitting high-quality suspension systems, accessories and performance upgrades across a wide range of 4WD vehicles.
We're looking for trade-qualified mechanics who take pride in their workmanship and have a strong understanding of vehicle suspension systems and modifications.
What's on Offer?
- Opportunity to work with premium 4WD products
- Rotating Saturday roster, 8:00am–12:00pm
- Monday to Friday, 7:00am–4:30pm
- Modern, purpose-built workshop and facilities
- Immediate start available
- $50–$55 per hour casual, depending on experience
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain high standards of workmanship and workshop safety
- Perform chassis bracing and vehicle performance modifications
- Service and revalve shock absorbers
- Install driving lights, LED lighting and dual battery systems
- Fit bull bars, snorkels, roof racks and other 4WD accessories
- Install and fit 4WD suspension systems and components
Skills & Experience
- Reliable transport and ability to work independently
- Current manual C Class driver's licence
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Experience fitting 4WD suspension systems and accessories
- Minimum 2 years of relevant mechanical experience
- Trade-qualified mechanic or relevant mechanical trade
Highly Regarded
- Experience in wheel alignment or automotive electrical work
- Welding and fabrication skills
- Experience with 4WD modifications and aftermarket accessories
