We are looking for:
A compassionate and dedicated Female Disability Support Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of CERT III in Disability or equivalent qualification, with a genuine passion for making a positive difference in the lives of people with disabilities.
Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized support and assistance to clients with disabilities in their daily activities, including personal care, domestic tasks, and social activities.
- Support clients to participate in community activities and access community resources.
- Monitor and report on clients' progress and any changes in their needs or circumstances.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive environment that respects clients' rights, dignity, and independence.
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure the delivery of high-quality and coordinated care services.
Requirements:
- CERT III in Disability or equivalent qualification is essential.
- Previous experience working in disability support or a related field is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Empathy, patience, and a genuine commitment to supporting individuals with disabilities.
- Willingness to undergo relevant background checks and screenings.
- Female candidates are preferred for this role due to the specific needs of our clients.
