About the Internship Program

Our Internship Program is a paid opportunity for students in their penultimate year of undergraduate studies and runs for 12 weeks commencing in November each year.

You’ll gain hands on experience, explore career pathways and work alongside industry professionals on real-world challenges. We’ll support your development with career coaching and skills training to help shape your future.

We’re seeking Structural engineering students to join our paid 12-week summer internship program, running from November 2026 to February 2027 in Newcastle.

From day one, you’ll have:

  • a buddy to help you settle in

  • a mentor to guide your experience

  • access to networking events, site visits and professional development.

You’ll also join a global community of interns and graduates, building your network and exploring opportunities in a workplace where you’re valued, included and empowered to thrive.

Eligibility

  • You are currently in your penultimate year of your studies.

  • Available to start in mid-November 2026 and commit to Worley’s 12-week program.

  • Valid working rights in Australia - You must have current unrestricted working rights for at least 6 years within Australia to be eligible for consideration and only those candidates with appropriate qualifications and experience will be contacted directly. Worley does not sponsor candidates.
