- Seeking experienced Underground Service Crew and Paste Crew Operators.
- Casual contract positions with a 2/2 roster and 12-hour shifts.
- FIFO roles with accommodation and meals provided.
Protech are seeking experienced Underground Service Crew and Paste Crew Operators to join our tier-one mining client located in the Northern Territory on a FIFO basis.
ABOUT THE ROLE
- Immediate starts available
- Casual contract positions
- Lifestyle 2/2 roster (week of days, week of nights)
- 12-hour shifts
- FIFO from Darwin, Alice Springs, Perth and Brisbane
- Accommodation and meals provided
- Weekly pay

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Service Crew
- Provide underground mine services support including ventilation, water, pumps and reticulation systems
- Assist with installation and maintenance of underground infrastructure
- Operate integrated tool carriers and other underground equipment where required
- Maintain a safe and productive work environment
Paste Crew
- Assist the backfill and services department in an underground environment
- Install, maintain and repair paste systems and pipelines
- Construct and maintain paste walls
- Operate underground equipment safely, including ITs where applicable
- Liaise with paste plant operators and support paste fill activities
TICKETS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Minimum 12 months’ experience in an Underground Service Crew and/or Paste Crew role
- Experience in underground hard rock mining environments
- Integrated Tool Carrier (IT) experience highly regarded
- HDPE, poly welding, paste fill or reticulation experience desirable
- Working at Heights ticket desirable
- Valid Australian Work Rights
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening
- Ability to obtain or hold a current National Police Clearance
- Reliable and contactable references
