Your new company
Our client is a well-established training organisation delivering nationally recognised training and assessment services across the mining, resources and industrial sectors. With a strong reputation for quality training and workforce development, they are seeking an experienced Trainer Assessor to join their Mackay team.

Your new role
As a Trainer Assessor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training and assessment programs to individuals working within the mining and industrial sectors. The primary focus of this role will be delivering Basic, Intermediate and Advanced Scaffolding courses, while ensuring all training is conducted safely, professionally and in accordance with relevant standards and compliance requirements. This is a full-time, Monday to Friday position with the potential to transition from temporary employment into a permanent role for the right candidate.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Current Trainer and Assessor qualification (TAE)
  • Proven experience delivering Basic, Intermediate and Advanced Scaffolding training
  • Strong mining industry background and understanding of site requirements
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Experience conducting training assessments and maintaining compliance documentation
  • Ability to facilitate engaging and effective training sessions
  • Current driver's licence and reliable transport
  • Must be based in Mackay or surrounding region
  • Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment medical and police check
