Our client is a well-established Queensland traffic management provider delivering civil infrastructure, construction, government and major-event projects across South East Queensland. The business operates an experienced field workforce alongside a close-knit office design team and is known for responsive, practical service across the SEQ corridor.
About the Role
Design and manage traffic management documentation from initial brief through to approval and issue. Work with clients, authorities, operations staff and field crews to produce compliant plans that are practical to implement on site. Open to experienced designers and established traffic professionals stepping into design.
Duties
- Prepare TMPs, TGSs, traffic control layouts, risk assessments and detour plans
- Manage designs from initial request through to approval, revision and issue
- Coordinate permit and approval requirements with TMR, councils and other authorities
- Collaborate with operations and field crews to ensure safe, practical implementation
- Maintain accurate design records, document control and version management
Skills & Experience
- TMD qualification and design experience, or strong background as a TMI, Traffic Supervisor or Traffic Planner
- Knowledge of QGTTM, MUTCD Part 3 and Queensland authority requirements
- Experience with Invarion RapidPlan or comparable traffic planning software
- CAD or 12D drafting experience highly regarded
- Strong attention to detail, technical judgement and ability to manage competing priorities
