SASH Alexandria is a purpose-built veterinary referral hospital close to Sydney’s CBD, we’re a model of multidisciplinary round-the-clock care to the Eastern Suburbs, Inner West and Southern Suburbs of Sydney
We're currently seeking a Theatre Team Leader to join us in a full time capacity across four day work week!
A unique opportunity to continue enjoying clinical hands-on work with patients throughout their surgery journey; from admission through to prep, surgery, recovery and discharge.
You will be working alongside our Nurse Manager to ensure smooth running of the day to day and providing mentoring, coaching and on the job training to develop team members.
Who are we looking for:
- Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing with 5 years of full-time experience in a qualified nursing position
- Previous theatre nursing experience is essential
- Experience in a leadership or senior position overseeing a team
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and effectively balance competing demands in a professional manner
- Demonstrated experience problem solving and the ability to manager competing priorities.
