More about the teaching role:
As a valued member of the secondary teaching team, you will deliver engaging Textiles, Food Technology, and/or Community and Family Studies lessons aligned with the NSW curriculum. You will inspire students to develop practical skills, creativity, and critical thinking while fostering independence and problem-solving abilities.
You will contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment, collaborating closely with colleagues and participating in pastoral care and co-curricular programs that support student development.
Key responsibilities:

Plan and deliver differentiated lessons in Textiles, Food Technology, and/or Community and Family Studies

Provide timely, constructive assessment and feedback to enhance student learning

Actively participate in pastoral care and co-curricular activities

Maintain professional and effective communication with students, parents, and staff

Utilise digital learning platforms to support teaching and learning
Our essential criteria:

Relevant tertiary qualifications and current NSW teacher accreditation (or eligibility)

Valid Working with Children Check clearance

Strong subject knowledge and passion for teaching Textiles, Food Technology, or Community and Family Studies

Effective classroom management and lesson planning skills

Commitment to ongoing professional development and reflective practice
