We are seeking an experienced Telecommunication Network Planner to join our professional team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, designing, and supporting the development of customer access networks, while ensuring service reliability, efficiency, and compliance with industry standards.
Telecommunications Network Planner - South Ripley, QLD
Key Responsibilities
• Designing and planning customer access network infrastructure to support NBN rollout and upgrades.
• Coordinating with contractors, suppliers, and service providers to manage projects and monitor performance
obligations.
• Providing technical input into network design, capacity planning, and optimisation to ensure efficiency and reliability.
• Identifying, diagnosing, and resolving telecommunications network issues, faults, or
malfunctions to maintain uninterrupted services.
• Preparing network plans, cost estimates, and technical documentation for project implementation.
• Analysing future demand, forecasting network capacity, and recommending enhancements to meet growing
customer needs.
• Overseeing compliance with safety standards, environmental requirements, and industry regulations.
• Offering operational support for ongoing maintenance, upgrades, and troubleshooting activities.
• Liaising with clients and stakeholders to ensure requirements are met and technical solutions align with business
outcomes.
• Keeping up to date with evolving technologies and incorporating best practices into planning and design processes.
Qualifications & Experience
• AQF associate degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma in Telecommunications, Networking, or related field.
• At least 1 year of relevant industry experience.
• Strong knowledge of telecommunications infrastructure and NBN standards.
Salary: $75,000 – $85,000 plus superannuation per annum
Hours: Full-time, 38 hours per week
