Job description

Join a leading organisation within the automotive industry and use your technical expertise in a specialised warranty assessment and dealer support role.
We are seeking an experienced automotive professional with recent hands-on technical experience, ideally as an Automotive Technician or Master Technician, with experience in warranty assessment, diagnostics, claim adjudication or dealer technical support.

You will assess complex warranty claims and Service Claim Authorisations (SCAs), review dealer diagnostics and repairs, make technical decisions and provide support across a national dealer network. You will also ensure claims comply with manufacturer requirements, warranty policies and Australian Consumer Law.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess and adjudicate warranty claims, SCAs and Goodwill Requests.
  • Review diagnostics, repair methods and supporting documentation.
  • Approve or decline repairs based on technical findings and warranty policy.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to dealers.
  • Investigate complex technical issues and escalate where required.
  • Maintain accurate claim documentation and identify opportunities for improvement.

About You

  • Strong automotive technical background.
  • Previous experience as an Automotive Technician or Master Technician.
  • Recent hands-on technical, diagnostic, warranty or dealer support experience.
  • Strong understanding of automotive systems and repair methodologies.
  • Experience interpreting warranty policies and Australian Consumer Law.
  • Strong analytical, communication and problem-solving skills.
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Microsoft Office experience; SAP or warranty systems highly regarded.
