A leading Brisbane CBD organisation is seeking an experienced Recoveries & Legal Services Team Lead to manage a team responsible for legal support, field services coordination, customer communication and recoveries administration.

This role is ideal for a hands‑on leader with strong people management capability and experience in call centre or client service/administration environments.

About the Role:

As the Recoveries & Legal Services Lead, you will oversee a team of Legal Support and Recoveries Officers who act as the administrative link between clients and field representatives. Your team ensures all work is completed accurately, compliantly and in line with service level agreements and departmental procedures.

You will manage escalations, support complex client and agent interactions, and ensure operational effectiveness across recoveries, legal support and field services.
Key Responsibilities

• Team leadership — lead, coach and develop a team of Legal Support & Recoveries Officers
• Operational oversight — ensure accurate, compliant and timely completion of legal support and recoveries tasks
• Stakeholder engagement — liaise with clients, field agents, legal partners and internal teams
• Escalation management — resolve complex issues and support staff with difficult cases
• Quality & compliance — uphold high standards of record keeping, data integrity and procedural adherence
• Service delivery — maintain service level agreements and ensure consistent, professional client service
• Continuous improvement — identify opportunities to uplift processes, capability and team performance

About You

• Strong leadership experience within call centre or client service/administration teams
• Proven ability to lead a large team in a fast‑paced, compliance‑driven environment
• Skilled in coaching, performance management and capability development
• Confident communicator with strong judgement and problem‑solving ability
• Experience in recoveries, legal support or field services highly regarded
• Ability to manage competing priorities and maintain high operational standards
• Police Check is requirec
