Job Description
We're looking for an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our People & Culture team for a 3-month contract to support one of the busiest times of the year in retail.
With Peak Trade approaching, you'll play a key role in delivering high-volume recruitment across our retail store network nationally, helping our teams have the right people in place for the busy peak trading period.
This is a hands-on recruitment role suited to someone who knows retail, enjoys working at pace and can confidently manage multiple vacancies and stakeholders across different states.
- 3-month contract
- Based at our Melbourne Support Office – Abbotsford
- Hybrid working –4 days in the office, 1 day working from home
- Immediate availability or a short notice period would be advantageous
The role
- Manage end-to-end Peak Trade recruitment across our national retail network
- Support high-volume recruitment across multiple states and store locations
- Screen and shortlist candidates, coordinate interviews and manage candidates through the recruitment process
- Partner with Store, Area and Regional Managers to understand their recruitment needs and priorities
- Keep recruitment activity moving quickly while maintaining a positive candidate experience
- Manage multiple vacancies, deadlines and changing priorities during a busy recruitment period
- Maintain accurate recruitment records and provide regular updates on recruitment progress
- Support the broader Talent Acquisition team where required
About you
- Previous retail recruitment experience is essential
- Experience managing high-volume recruitment across multiple locations
- Peak Trade or seasonal recruitment experience will be highly regarded
- The ability to hit the ground running and work confidently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organisation and prioritisation skills
- A practical, proactive approach and willingness to get stuck in
- Strong communication skills and the confidence to work with retail leaders at all levels
- Experience using Springboard will be highly regarded
