TA Fitter & Welders
If you’re a qualified tradesperson or an experienced TA who takes pride in your work and are passionate about delivering the best possible results, this is a great opportunity for an experienced individual to join a reputable company in the Australian Grain Industry whilst working locally in Perth.
The Role:
- General daily maintenance on fixed plant machinery, working on Belts and Conveyor lines
- Assisting with basic welding
- Greasing machinery, installation and maintenance of sensors and airlines
- Carry out basic maintenance checks, including inspections, minor repairs, adjustments, and assist licenced Tradesman with equipment changeovers
- Flexibility to handle varied tasks and meet production & supply deadlines
- Possess advance technical knowledge of complex machinery operations
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools
- Comply with all WHS requirements, SOPs, permits, and site safety procedures
Criteria:
- Minimum 1 year experience in a similar role with a track record of delivering high-quality work.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure quality workmanship
- Trade certificate: 2nd class Boiler Maker or Cert III in engineering: Fitter/Machining/Fabrication Trade – (Highly desirable)
- Highrisk: Forklift Licence (Desirable)
- C Class Licence minimum (Required)
- White Card
- Physically fit and have ability to lift 20Kgs
- National Police Clearance & ability to pass a Drug & Alcohol.
