Subdivision Officer
- Assess and process subdivision applications in accordance with relevant legislation and Council requirements.
- Manage subdivision referrals, certification and Statement of Compliance processes.
- Liaise with developers, surveyors, consultants and internal Council departments.
A Victorian Local Government Council to recruit an experienced Subdivision Officer to support their Planning team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong understanding of subdivision processes, relevant qualifications and experience working within a Victorian Local Government environment.
The Role
- Assess and process subdivision applications in accordance with relevant legislation and Council requirements.
- Manage subdivision referrals, certification and Statement of Compliance processes.
- Liaise with developers, surveyors, consultants and internal Council departments.
- Review subdivision plans and associated documentation.
- Ensure compliance with the Subdivision Act 1988 and relevant planning legislation.
- Utilise SPEAR to manage subdivision applications and workflows.
About You
- Relevant qualification in Land Surveying, Subdivision, Town Planning or a related discipline.
- Previous experience managing subdivision applications, ideally within Victorian Local Government.
- Strong knowledge of the Subdivision Act 1988 and Victorian planning processes.
- Experience using SPEAR is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to manage competing priorities.
