Our Opportunity 

We are seeking a Structural Engineer to join our growing Brisbane team.  

This role is ideal for engineers with 4–6+ years of post-graduate experience who are looking to broaden their technical expertise, contribute to a diverse range of building projects, and take the next step in their professional career. 

Working alongside experienced engineers, you'll be involved in delivering innovative and technically challenging structural solutions across a variety of projects. You'll enjoy a collaborative environment with opportunities for career progression, flexible working arrangements, and exposure to landmark developments. 

In this role, you will:  

Structural Engineering 

  • Develop practical, safe, and cost-effective structural engineering solutions for a range of building projects.  

  • Prepare structural designs, calculations, specifications, technical reports, and engineering documentation to meet project and client requirements.  

  • Assist in preparing fee proposals, tender submissions, and client reports.  

Project Delivery 

  • Manage the delivery of small to medium-sized projects, including project planning, technical documentation, scheduling, and budget management.  

  • Coordinate with clients, architects, contractors, and multidisciplinary project teams throughout all project stages.  

  • Review engineering documentation and provide technical guidance to junior engineers where required.  

  • Ensure compliance with relevant Australian Standards, quality management systems, and workplace health and safety requirements. 

Who are we looking for? 

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.  

  • Membership with Engineers Australia; CPEng and/or NER accreditation is highly regarded.  

  • 4–6+ years of experience in structural engineering within a consulting environment.  

  • Experience in timber design is highly desirable.  

  • Proficiency in ETABS, SPACE GASS, RAM Structural System, and RAPT.  

  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).  

  • Site experience on at least one building project is highly desirable.  

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks effectively.  

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and attention-to-detail skills.
