Our client is a well-established Australian-owned supplier of industrial and engineering products, servicing customers across Australia and New Zealand. Based in Green Fields, Adelaide, this is an opportunity to join a collaborative team in a part-time role supporting day-to-day warehouse and supply chain operations.
About the role
The core responsibility of the role is to ensure the business’s warehouse operations run smoothly and efficiently, maintaining stock accuracy and ensuring products are available and delivered to customers on time. This role is essential in supporting customer service, operational efficiency and the wider business team.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect and accurately record incoming goods against purchase orders
- Pick, pack and dispatch customer orders accurately and on time
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with stock takes
- Organise and maintain a clean, tidy and safe warehouse
- Prepare freight documentation and coordinate courier collections
- Support sales, purchasing and administration teams with stock enquiries, backorders and urgent orders
- Identify and report stock discrepancies, shortages and delivery issues
- Follow workplace health and safety procedures
Skills and Experience
- Previous warehouse, storeperson and supply chain experience
- Current forklift licence advantage
- Experience with courier bookings and freight documentation
- Strong attention to detail, organisation and time management
- Reliable, proactive and able to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills and a practical, hands-on approach
