About Our Client:
Our client is a modern underground Bord and Pillar mining operation with a strong focus on safe, efficient and sustainable mining practices.
What you will be doing:
- Experience in mining warehouses operations within an underground environment.
- Use of SAPfor warehouse and materials management activities.
- Strong focus on safety, compliance, accountability and maintaining efficient warehouse operations.
- Minimum 2 years mining experience.
- Current Driver Licence and Forklift Licence.
- Experience in escorting (not essential; training provided).
- Must have Underground Standard 11 or be willing to obtain - Must have or willing to obtain Coal Board Medical
What you will need:
- Warehouse and logistics activities, including coordination of personnel, vehicles, and drivers.
- Loading and unloading trucks using forklifts and coordinating the safe movement of materials.
- Materials management, stock control, inventory accuracy, and discrepancy investigation.
- Picking, kitting and delivering materials to execution and maintenance teams.
- Goods receipting, issuing and stocktaking.
- Must have good communication skills with vendors and site-based operational teams.
- Adherence to warehouse procedures, SOPs, risk assessments, and safety requirements.
- Transport and logistics coordination, including direct loads and urgent freight movements.
