About the role: -
7-Eleven Orange is seeking a reliable, organised and motivated Store Person to support the efficient operation of the store. The successful candidate will be responsible for receiving and storing stock, maintaining inventory levels, assisting with stock replenishment and ensuring the storeroom and stock areas remain clean, safe and organised.
The ideal candidate will have strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Minimum requirement
- AQF associate degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma in the relevant field and 1 year experience in a similar role.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect and verify incoming deliveries against invoices and purchase orders.
- Unload, sort and store stock in designated storage areas.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with stocktaking and inventory reconciliation.
- Replenish shelves and ensure products are available when required.
- Check product quantities, expiry dates and stock rotation in accordance with store procedures.
- Identify damaged, expired or missing stock and report discrepancies to management.
- Maintain accurate stock records and assist with ordering and inventory control.
- Keep storerooms, stock areas and delivery zones clean, tidy and organised.
- Follow workplace health and safety procedures, including safe manual handling practices.
- Coordinate with store management and other team members to ensure smooth daily operations.
Skills & Qualities Required:
- Good organisational and time-management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling stock and maintaining records.
- Ability to undertake physical tasks, including lifting, carrying and moving stock safely.
- Basic computer skills for inventory records and stock management.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
- A responsible attitude towards workplace safety, cleanliness and company procedure
